Howzit, My name is Connor, and I’m a rising junior at Duke studying public policy, history, and Spanish. At Duke, I play saxophone in the Marching Band, where you’ll find me playing at every football and basketball game. While in Durban, I'm interning at SDCEA, an NGO focusing on environmental justice. I’m excited to learn more about the community and my homestay family, try out new food (aka attempt to develop a tolerance to anything remotely spicy), and pick up the intricacies of the South African accent over the next months.
